A small Paris Fashion Week moment between Rihanna and EJ Johnson quickly drew attention online after Johnson criticized the singer’s arrival at a Dior runway show.
In a recent Instagram recap, Johnson said the Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2027 presentation began roughly an hour late and suggested Rihanna’s delayed arrival was the reason. Johnson praised the collection but made it clear the extended wait was frustrating.
The situation took another turn when a separate video showed Johnson outside a hotel after posing for photographers. In the clip, Johnson appeared to have trouble getting back inside after the doors were closed.
Rihanna later left a brief comment on the video, writing “Damn.” The reaction was widely interpreted as a possible response to Johnson’s earlier remarks, although Rihanna did not directly address the complaint.
Rihanna attended the Dior show in an all-black look and was among several high-profile guests seen throughout Paris Fashion Week.
